We offer a variety of adult education opportunites that nourish the spirit and challenge the mind. Classes meet at 10 am, following the Sunday morning progressive worship.
Henson Class: This class is attended by senior adults.
Goldston Class: This class is attended by senior adults. Seasons of the Spirit is a curriculum based on the Revised Common Lectionary. Over a three-year period, students will experience Scripture from every part of the Bible. Focusing on the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the themes throughout each year follow the Christian Year, beginning with Advent. Each person in the congregation will hear and experience the same Bible story or theme at the same time, but in a way that is appropriate for their particular age level, learning style, and stage of faith development.
Koinonia Class: This class is varied in age as well as topics.
Open Door Class: This class discusses various theological issues, Bibical history and Christian ethics. Greg Gossett generally helps guide the lesson.
The New Class: Yet to have a name, this class, taught by Rev. Hubert is varied in age and topics. Currently the class is studying, Living the Questions, which is a 12 week DVD and web-based small group program of Christian invitation, initiation and spiritual formation.
