San Angelo’s Musicians for San Angelo’s Seniors!
–Instrumentalists and vocalists of all ages and specialties who want to "make a difference" in the community by volunteering to share your Gift of Music with San Angelo Seniors in their homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, medical units, senior centers, or wherever seniors may gather...ARE MOST WELCOME!
–Seniors enjoy a wide variety of music...including the “oldie goldies” of the 20's, 30's, 40's, and 50's, jazz, Latin, dance, the old-time gospel songs, sing-a-longs, favorite works from the masters, and many other styles that trigger fond musical memories and lift one's spirits.
–Music need not be memorized, but “performance ready” is important.
–A touch sensitive, full-sized Yamaha electric portable keyboard is available with weighted keys, pedal, several sound options, transposing ability, plus microphone, amplifier, and music stand.
–The deadline for inclusion in any “Care Gig” is one week prior to the performance date.
–To offer a prepared musical piece(s), to invite "Harmonious Connections" musicians to perform, to visit a "Care Gig", or for further information about the “Harmonious Connections” Outreach Music Ministry to Seniors, contact:
