Stages of Faith will be our new Wednesday night fall programing starting on September 3 and running through November19. Soul Food, our evening meal, will be at 5:30. Classes will be from 6:15 - 7:15.
Soul to Soul, the adult study, will be lead by Tracy Baker. The topic for the fall is theology.
During the month of September classes for four year olds through high school will be on being good stewards of the Earth ( Genesis Chapter 1).
In October Theater for the Soul for third grades through high school will begin. Elena Kent, Angelo Civic Theater's Youth Director, will be leading this dynamic workshop with the help of Yvonne Ezell, Toni Sauncy, and Julie Wheat. The class will foster creativity, performance skills, respect for others and self confidence as well as encouraging relationships with God and others. The workshop will culminate in a showcase performance in December for friends and family. Mrs. Kent has directed children at Angelo Civic Theater in such productions as Children's Letters to God, Dear Edwina, Honk! Jr., and this season's upcoming youth production, Wizard of Oz.
Soul Training is the class for four year olds through second grade. They will have Bible Stories, music, crafts, and games. KK Jones will be leading the music for this group.
A nursery will be provided for the younger children.
Registration forms will be available in the office or online, The cost will be $25 for one person, $35 for two people, or $50 for a family of three or more. Scholarships are available and confidential. Please feel welcome to contact Rev. Hubert at 653-4523.
